Prepare for an evening of electrifying artistry as the Greenville Symphony presents a program that journeys from fate‑defying turbulence to radiant symphonic triumph. The concert opens with Carlos Simon’s Fate Now Conquers, a visceral, rhythmically charged work that mirrors Beethoven’s own spirit of defiance.

Winner of the 2024 Sphinx Competition and the Grand Prize of both the Concert Artist Guild (CAG) and Young Concert Artist Trust (YCAT) competitions, Amaral has quickly gained international acclaim for his extraordinary expressive range and rare ability to “get to the heart and soul of musical expression,” as Yo‑Yo Ma has praised.
Amaral has appeared as soloist with renowned ensembles including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Philharmonia Orchestra, and has been named a Classic FM Rising Star under 30. He has graced legendary stages such as Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, the KKL at Lucerne Festival, and Konzerthaus Dortmund, rapidly emerging as a powerful new voice on the global concert scene.
